We fished big live threads today and lost a couple giant snook early early in the incoming tides. Since the bait we were using was big live threadfin herring, which aren’t easy to manage in heavy cover on the shorelines, and are very big baits when fished whole, we decided to go Pine Island style and chunk some up in the mangroves and it paid off for Rico, Fatima, and Sue from Naples on a half day on the water. As you can see in the picture with Sue, even the little snook like a thread chunk.
